Established in the fall of 2010 with a single publication Up The Hill magazine for Estrella Mountain Ranch (then with only about 3500-copies per month) has since grown to become the proud producer of 9-premier hyper local community magazines throughout the Arizona west valley (now printing 55,000+ copies monthly with a readership of 137k+). What had once started as a simple conversation (a concept was born) over dinner and wine with local friends, has flourished into a business model that strives to support the local business economy. #EstrellaPublishing has been supported by friends and the local business community in such a fashion to establish a mutually beneficial model that provides the local businesses an avenue to share their business with the readership of our magazines.

#EstrellaPublishing is a locally owned & operated small family business. Catherine had a photography business (Cat's Candids) and a background in writing and the creative arts. Albert had a background in business operations and business development from corporate America. These skills of both Catherine and Albert compliment one another in such a smooth manner to create #EstrellaPublishing. Albert & Catherine now joined by the next generation, as Talia learns the business and adds significant value to our customers. We look forward to continuing to support the community members, local businesses, and our the local municipality as our company continues to grow and add additional community magazines throughout Arizona.

Catherine Uretsky

Originally from England, Catherine lived and studied in the Middle East and at the New School, NY, before attending Manchester University, UK. As a lifelong student, she attends The Open University in the UK (virtually!). Catherine is the Publisher & Editor In Chief of Estrella Publishing. As such, she has been responsible for all layouts, content, graphics, photography, writing, managing writers, and overall quality control of all 9 monthly magazines for the last 15 years. Catherine identifies, interviews, writes, and photographs cover stories for the magazines. She is highly proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign and is constantly updating her creative skills to meet the needs of a rapidly changing market.

Albert Uretsky

Albert is a graduate of New York University with an emphasis in Information Technology, International Business (with emphasis in Japanese Management), and Communications. Albert is certified in Project / Program Management, as well as being a professional business coach. Albert is a member of the Sigma Alpha Mu fraternity.

Albert has an exceptional record of achievement leading business development and strategic planning efforts to promote bottom-line growth. Highly accomplished, ambitious executive with over 35 years of consulting experience with prestigious firms such as Ernst & Young, Fujitsu Consulting, and IBM Global Service with industry expertise spanning banking and financial services, healthcare, entertainment, education, restaurants and publishing. Albert is dedicated to exceeding client expectations and business objectives by aligning corporate vision and values to actionable initiatives for process improvement. Background includes establishing and managing program management offices, generating double-digit revenue growth, and developing new consultative service offerings. Albert has been published in numerous regional and national publications on various business topics.

Albert is an entrepreneur and venture capitalist by trade and owns a number of firms, with emphasis on; Estrella Partners Group and Estrella Publishing. Albert has a history of being an elected official and philanthropist supporting numerous local and national worthy non-profit organization.

Talia Uretsky

Talia graduated from Northern Arizona University (NAU) with a degree in Strategic Communication, an emphasis in Public Relations, and a minor in Psychology. Talia is a member of the Chi Omega sorority. She holds herself to extremely high standards and has an exceptional eye for details. The future generation of Estrella Publishing is strong.

Talia is an ambitious and hardworking individual who seeks positive results to produce personal and professional growth. She is dedicated to creating effective communication throughout all platforms. Talia demonstrates knowledge and prior work experience in communications, community outreach, public relations, marketing, graphic design, and social media. She also has previous work experience in creating advertisements, website design, writing press releases, pitches, and articles for companies in various industries, including nonprofits.

Ross Uretsky

Ross is a full-time student at Washington State University (Pullman) earning a degree in Psychology and Sports Management. Ross has a long history of interests in athletics, specifically Football, T&T Gymnastics, Volleyball, and Dive. Currently in his 4th season as a Student Assistant Coach with the WSU Cougs D1 PAC12 Football Program. Primary focus has been working with the QBs, Offensive Receivers and Backs. Ross is a member of the Phi Sigma Kappa Fraternity. Ross has been writing articles for Estrella Publishing for the past 4-years on subjects associated with College Life, Sports, and Mental Health Wellness.

John McNamara

The newest addition to our team, John, joined in May 2025. He graduated from Rutgers University and has had broad business experience including over 20 years in media and event sponsorship sales. John has worked for several business-to-business publications serving a variety of industries. This is his first business-to-consumer venture and what excites him is the opportunity to help local businesses grow. John enjoys the consultative aspect of sales, and his goal is to provide world-class service to the accounts he manages.
